How do I install Intel Graphics Drivers on 23.04?

I have an 8 year old laptop that I installed Ubuntu on and despite being capable of playing some smaller games (such as Terraria), they run slowly and is incredibly choppy. My goal is to try and update the graphics drivers in case that might help it run better, but I’m new to Linux as a whole and have no clue where to start. I’ve looked elsewhere but haven’t had any luck.

Ubuntu or Ubuntu Unity? And please provide some more info about the system specs.

Besides that, there’s no need to install graphics drivers on any Intel based graphics card under Linux. Linux is not Windows and thing work differently. Drivers and intel firmware are automatically provided through updates during the lifecycle of a release.
